Hans Offringa is a long-time whisky author and commentator with decades of experience in the field. Based in the Netherlands, he has written extensively on Scotch whisky, including over 40 books in multiple languages, and is known for his work as part of The Whisky Couple, a collaboration with his wife, Becky.

He has served as an ambassador, judge, and speaker at major whisky events around the world, and is a Lifetime International Ambassador for the Spirit of Speyside Festival, as well as a Keeper of the Quaich. Hans also sits on the Advisory Board of the Council of Whiskey Masters, contributing to its global perspective on whisky education and standards.
