Monique Houston is a respected figure in the global spirits community, known not only for her deep expertise but also for her generous spirit and dedication to the industry. A Keeper of the Quaich and long-time Advisory Board Member of the Council of Whiskey Masters, she brings both wisdom and integrity to every role she holds.
Monique currently serves as Vice President of Spirits at Winebow, one of the leading wine and spirits importers in the United States. She is also a certified WSET Spirits Instructor and a frequent panel judge at national and international whisky competitions.
Earlier in her career, Monique managed the iconic whisky program at the Dundee Dell in Omaha, Nebraska—once one of the largest publicly accessible whisky collections in the world.
Now based in Chicago, Illinois, Monique remains a beloved mentor and leader, known for her thoughtful approach, her vast knowledge, and her unwavering commitment to the world of fine spirits.
